Our passion is asphalt, whether paving a residential driveway or commercial parking lot, we are Kentucky's Asphalt Animals.

C & R Asphalt, LLC is the largest sealcoating, crackfilling and striping contractor in the Bluegrass. We specialize in a variety of project types, including commercial shopping centers, strip malls, office complexes, churches, sub-divisions, farm lanes and residential driveways.

C & R Asphalt employs approximately 85 people and runs as many as 12 different crews during the peak season. We have employees who have been dedicated to the success of our company for more than 20 years. We pride ourselves on our relentless work ethic, our dedicated people and our state-of-the-art equipment. Started by two life-long friends, Steve Coleman and Rick Roy, who spent their college summers working in the asphalt paving and sealcoating industry, C & R Asphalt has become the largest independent asphalt contractor in Central Kentucky.

C & R Asphalt is a member of the Better Business Bureaus of Central and Eastern Kentucky as well as the Pavement Network, an exclusive group of paving and concrete industry leaders who provide localized expertise with national coverage.

Trusted by experts in a variety of contracting services, C & R Asphalt was chosen to pave the Better Business Bureau parking lot, complete all excavation, drainage and paving work for the Fayette Mall expansions and overlay the Lexington Green Mall and Palomar Center. C & R Asphalt continues to show rapid growth each year due to our loyal customer base.

Completing over 1,050 driveways, parking lots, farm lanes and commercial projects yearly, C & R Asphalt is the leading private asphalt contractor in Central Kentucky in total sales, volume of asphalt installed and volume of sealcoating applied.

William "Bill" Coleman

Bill was the Foreman of C & R Crush and Stone LLC Crusher Operation. From Bryan Ohio, Bill came to the company in 1999 with over 21 years of supervisory experience in the manufacturing industry. Bill is also Steve’s father.
